What was done
Alestra chose the group as its partner for a new data center in Querétaro: design, construction, fit-out and commissioning of a 35,000 m² modular facility, with 3,500 m² of white space in seven 500 m² modules.
The cogeneration plant, with two GE Jenbacher engines and two 350-ton absorption chillers, supplies the data center’s power and chilled water. The documented result was a 45% reduction in energy costs.
The project received DC Dynamics’ "Innovation in the Mega Data Center" award on October 1, 2014.
